1. Who we are

SnapMint is a software service operated from Spain that helps sellers generate product listings using artificial intelligence. Our contact email is hola@snapmint.app.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our service:

• Email address — required to create your account, deliver your listings and communicate with you about your subscription.
• Product photos — images you upload to generate listings. These are processed by our AI system and stored temporarily.
• Optional product details — product name, material, price, special notes. These are provided voluntarily to improve listing quality.
• Usage data — number of listings generated per month, plan type, account creation date. Used to manage your subscription limits.
• Payment data — processed entirely by our payment provider. We never store your card details.

3. How we use your data

We use your data exclusively to:

• Create and manage your SnapMint account
• Generate product listings from your photos using AI
• Deliver your listings to your email inbox
• Track your monthly usage against your plan limits
• Process your subscription payments
• Send you essential service communications (account confirmation, limit alerts, renewal receipts)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the service you signed up for.

4. Your photos and AI processing

We do not use your photos or generated listings to train AI models. The content generated from your photos belongs entirely to you.

By uploading a photo, you confirm that you own the rights to that image or have permission to use it for this purpose.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate SnapMint. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI processing of product images. Privacy policy →

• Netlify — Website hosting and authentication. Privacy policy →
• Resend — Email delivery service. Privacy policy →
• Payment provider — Subscription billing and payment processing.

6. Data retention

• Account data — retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion.
• Product photos — deleted automatically after 30 days, or immediately upon request.
• Generated listings — retained in our database for 90 days to allow you to reference past listings. Deleted upon account deletion.
• Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by Spanish tax law.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Right to portability — request your data in a portable format.
• Right to object — object to processing of your data for specific purposes.
• Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

8. Cookies

SnapMint uses only essential cookies necessary for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics cookies. No third-party cookies are set by our service.

9. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews of our third-party providers. However, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

Some of our third-party providers are based outside the European Economic Area (notably Anthropic and Cloudinary in the United States). These transfers are conducted under appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses as required by GDPR.

11. Children's privacy

SnapMint is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on our website. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last updated.
